KIKS (Kakehashi International Korean System), referred to in this document as "the Service," is an online Korean-learning service offered especially to Cambodian learners.
The Service respects consumer protection, e-commerce regulations, the handling of personal information, the prevention of unlawful use, and the protection of intellectual property.
Article 1 Basic Policy
The Service is offered especially to users in Cambodia and to Cambodian users.
The Service complies with applicable laws and regulations, taking into account the location where the Service is provided, users' place of residence, payment methods used, the operational structure, and the external services used.
In particular, the Service complies with laws in Cambodia relating to e-commerce, consumer protection, personal information, and the prevention of unlawful use, and makes reasonable efforts to avoid presenting information that could mislead users.
Article 2 Policy on Disclosing Operator Information
The Service provides the contact channels necessary to answer questions, confirm payments, provide support, and respond to refund or cancellation requests.
However, to protect personal safety and prevent the unlawful use of personal information, harassment, fraud, and impersonation, the Service does not publish a personal home address, a personal phone number, or other unnecessary personal information on public pages.
If disclosure of operator information is required by law or for business purposes, the Service will respond through its contact channel to the extent necessary and appropriate.
Article 3 Contact Channel
Questions relating to the Service should be directed through the contact channel specified by the Service.
Types of inquiries include:
- Questions about the Service
- Questions about payment
- Questions about an account
- Questions about logging in
- Technical issues related to video or audio
- Questions about refunds or cancellations
- Questions about personal information
- Questions about the Terms and other policies

Article 4 Disclosure of Information Before Payment
Before a user purchases a paid plan, the Service makes reasonable efforts to disclose the following information so the user can review it:
- The plan name
- The price
- The scope of lessons available
- The access period
- That BASIC / SILVER are self-paced courses
- That personal answers or teacher corrections are not included
- The refund and cancellation terms that apply after payment
- The Terms of Use
- The Privacy Policy
- The Refund and Cancellation Policy
Article 5 Note on Self-Paced Courses
BASIC and SILVER are, in principle, self-paced courses.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the plan description, these plans do not include one-on-one teaching, correction of answers by a teacher, personal answers to questions, a guarantee of passing an exam, a guarantee of obtaining a job, or a guarantee of obtaining a visa.
The Service clearly discloses that these plans are self-paced courses on the pricing page, at checkout, in the Terms of Use, and in the Refund Policy.
Article 6 No Guarantee of Specific Outcomes
The Service is a support service for learning Korean online.
The Service does not guarantee any of the following outcomes:
- Passing the EPS-TOPIK or any other exam
- Obtaining a job in Korea
- Obtaining a visa
- Passing an interview
- Continuation of study
- Earning income
- Any specific learning outcome
Article 7 Personal Information and Learning Data
The Service may handle a user's registration information, study history, practice-quiz results, assignment status, video-viewing status, level-check results, payment information, inquiry content, and access information.
This information is used to provide the Service, verify identity, confirm payment, show progress, provide support, prevent unlawful use, and improve the Service.

Article 8 Protection of Intellectual Property
The Service's videos, audio, practice quizzes, assignments, Practice Bank, Mock Tests, text, translations, images, UI, curriculum, lesson structure, lesson-unlocking structure, learning-management features, code, data structures, and operational know-how are important intellectual property belonging to the Service.
Users may use the Service only for their own personal study purposes.
Recording, copying, re-posting, sharing, selling, creating study materials from, or creating a service modeled on the Service, without authorization, is prohibited.
Article 9 Prevention of Unlawful Use
The Service may take measures necessary to prevent account sharing, unauthorized re-posting of content, recording of video, sharing of practice-quiz or assignment content, unauthorized system access, unlawful payment, and impersonation.
If a violation is discovered, the Service may suspend the account, restrict its use, refuse a refund, claim compensation for damages, or take legal action.
Article 10 Use of External Services
The Service may use external services such as Vimeo, Google, Telegram, WordPress, MemberPress, LearnDash, and payment providers.
When an external service is used, that service's own terms of use and privacy policy may also apply.
Article 11 Responding to Legal Requests
If there is a request from a law, a government body, a court, or another body with lawful authority, the Service will respond to the extent necessary.
If there is a suspicion of unlawful use, copyright infringement, fraud, impersonation, or another unlawful act, the Service may restrict use, review the situation, retain records, take advice, or report the matter to a relevant authority.
Article 12 Changes to this Policy
The Service may change this Policy in response to its operational status, changes in law, changes in payment methods, or changes to the content of the Service.
An amended policy takes effect from the time it is published on the Service, or from a time separately specified by the Service.
